If you have a Garmin GPS watch you can now import your favorite routes directly from the watch into LogYourRun saving you the effort of tracing it on the map. The route import feature can be found on the left menu in the routes section and requires that you are signed in.
You can also enjoy your's and other people's LogYourRun routes on the road as well! We have an option for downloading any route you can see on LogYourRun to your Garmin GPS watch.
To download the route click the on the View Route page. This will download a .tcx file to your computer that contains the coordinates of your route.
To import the route into the Garmin Training Center(TM) go to the file menu and select "Import Courses". Then find the place where the .tcx file was downloaded and select Open. Your LogYourRun route should now be showing in the list of routes in Garmin Training Center(TM).
Next time you synchronize your watch you can select to upload the route to your watch.
Please note that LogYourRun is in no way associated with Garmin
on the View Route page. This will download a .tcx file to your computer that contains the coordinates of your route.
